Retail Expansion Manager – Luxury Fashion

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Expansion Manager to lead the growth of a luxury fashion brand across Nigeria, Africa and beyond. You will be responsible for driving revenue through new store openings, stockist partnerships, pop‑up concepts and distribution channels, while ensuring existing locations meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Increase revenue and sales performance across all physical stores.
• Manage, coach and hold store sales teams accountable for targets.
• Identify and secure new stores, concessions, stockists, distributors and retail partnerships.
• Develop relationships with physical retailers and commercial partners, negotiating contracts and terms.
• Plan, negotiate and execute local and international pop‑up opportunities.
• Build distribution networks within Nigeria, across Africa and globally.
• Visit stores to monitor sales execution, customer experience and merchandising standards.
• Prepare sales plans, forecasts, pipeline reports and regular performance updates.
• Travel to stores outside Lagos and internationally for meetings, activations and commercial opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with the Online Sales Manager to align omni‑channel sales strategies.

Required profile

• Mid‑level commercial, retail sales or business‑development professional.
• Proven experience in retail sales, distribution, expansion or channel development.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Experience managing salespeople, retail teams or multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Commercially driven, proactive and comfortable with ambitious targets.
• Leadership potential to evolve into a Head of Sales role.

Required skills

• Competitive salary range of 600,000 – 800,000 NGN.
