Vendor Acquisition Officer

About the role

The Vendor Acquisition Officer will drive the growth of Luna Fortis by onboarding short‑let owners, car‑hire operators and other independent service providers onto our digital marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach short‑let owners/managers and car‑hire operators in the assigned area.
• Explain Luna Fortis’s value proposition as an open marketplace and promote the Founding Vendor deal (0% commission until 28 Feb 2027 for early adopters).
• Assist vendors with registration, documentation, KYC, payout account setup and get their first listing live.
• Collect and verify business, property and vehicle information, ensuring accurate photos, pricing and availability.
• Maintain daily records of prospects, follow‑ups and activations in the team tracker.
• Submit a weekly performance report to the team lead.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or higher qualification (advantageous).
• Prior experience in field sales, direct marketing, retail banking, insurance, telecommunications or merchant acquisition.
• Background in short‑let management, real estate, vehicle rentals or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication, persuasion and people skills; target‑driven, honest, organised and self‑motivated.
• Comfortable working outdoors, travelling around Lagos for field visits, and using WhatsApp, smartphones and basic online forms.
