Solar Inverter Sales Manager

About the role

Sakopower is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the promotion and sale of solar inverters, batteries and related renewable energy solutions in Lagos. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding the dealer network and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
• Identify, acquire and nurture new customers, dealers and distributors.
• Lead, motivate and supervise the sales team to achieve set goals.
• Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitor activity and track industry trends.
• Negotiate deals, provide excellent customer service and ensure proper documentation of sales activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in solar inverter sales or a renewable‑energy company, with at least 2–3 years of relevant sales experience.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of solar inverters, batteries and related renewable‑energy products.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to work under pressure.
