Restaurant Cashier – 2 Openings

About the role

J‑Six Group is seeking two enthusiastic Restaurant Cashiers for its fast‑service outlets in Abijo and Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. This full‑time position involves handling customer orders, processing payments and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Take customer orders at the counter and pack food items neatly.
• Receive cash and card payments, provide correct change, and operate the POS register.
• Manage credit‑card transactions and maintain accurate cash balances.
• Address impatient or irritated customers, especially during peak periods.
• Close out the register and reconcile balances at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• OND qualification (or equivalent).
• At least 1 year experience in a fast‑food or quick‑service restaurant (preferred).
• Strong mathematical ability and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer knowledge for transaction processing.
• Excellent customer‑service attitude and ability to work flexible shifts.
• Residence in close proximity to the assigned location.
