Relationship Manager – Direct Sales

About the role

Catilas Resources Limited is recruiting Relationship Managers on behalf of a leading commercial bank. The role focuses on direct sales, market research and client retention across Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs and competitive landscapes.
• Define target audiences, create buyer personas and generate leads through cold calling, networking and online research.
• Implement traditional marketing tactics such as print advertising, direct mail and door‑to‑door sales.
• Onboard, manage and support agents, ensuring activity levels meet set targets.
• Collect and analyse customer feedback via surveys to improve products and services.
• Develop and execute customer retention strategies, addressing concerns promptly.
• Identify cross‑selling and up‑selling opportunities to maximise revenue.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge and communicate it effectively to clients.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc in any discipline (minimum Lower Credit or Second Class Lower).
• Age not above 28 years and NYSC completed.
• 6 months to 2 years sales experience, preferably in a financial institution or agency‑supported institution.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Good IT proficiency and customer‑oriented attitude.
