Regional Manager, Asset Management

About the role

Standard Bank Group is recruiting a Regional Manager for Stanbic IBTC Asset Management Limited (SIAML) in Abuja. The role gives direction on business development and operations in the region, manages relationships with existing clients and leads a portfolio of branches within a defined region.

Key responsibilities

• Harness sales potential across the states in the South-South and South-East areas of Nigeria and market SIAML's products and services to target clients.
• Provide financial and investment advice and regular financial market updates to clients.
• Ensure compliance with the laws of the relevant regulatory bodies.
• Supervise and mentor SIAML staff in the region and propose strategies to meet the region's goals.
• Lead and manage a portfolio of branches, ensuring strategic objectives, operational efficiency, risk and compliance adherence and a strong customer experience.
• Provide leadership to Branch Managers and drive performance across sales, service and cash operations.

Required profile

• First degree in Economics.
• Masters degree in Business Administration.
• 8 to 10 years of experience coordinating relationship management, sales and client services.
• Strong experience in sales, service, operations and risk management.
