Recruitment & Staffing Consultant

About the role

eRecruiter, an HR consulting firm based in Lagos, is looking for a full-cycle (360) Recruitment Consultant to manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process. The role is entrepreneurial and focuses on generating revenue through successful placements, sourcing and placing top talent with leading companies across Africa and internationally. It covers recruitment, business development and client management.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and placing candidates, building candidate relationships and managing databases
• Developing client relationships through cold emails, networking and lead generation
• Advertising roles and consulting with clients on their requirements and hiring challenges
• Screening candidates for technical fit, cultural alignment and career aspirations
• Preparing candidates for interviews and managing interview scheduling and feedback via the ATS
• Negotiating offers and monitoring hired candidates during their probation period

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in agency or recruitment consulting
• Disciplined database management and strong attention to detail
• Flexibility beyond a typical 9-5 schedule to meet client needs and placement deadlines
• Strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of the sales process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Preferred: BSc in sciences, humanities or arts, and registered or completed CIPM or other HR certification

Required skills

• Experience with cloud-based email and storage solutions
• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
