Receptionist - Part Time

About the role

D21 Serviced Apartment Ltd is looking for a part-time receptionist to welcome guests and look after front desk operations at its property on Chris Loyin Street, Kubwa, Abuja. The role covers check-ins, check-outs, enquiries, reservations and guest relations, and suits someone with entry-level experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally on arrival.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, enquiries and reservations, and answer calls and messages.
• Maintain accurate guest records, reservation details and payment documentation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance so rooms are ready for guests.
• Handle guest complaints and requests politely and promptly.
• Keep the reception area clean, organised and attractive.
• Monitor bookings, room availability and daily front desk activity.
• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality, and prepare basic daily reports.

Required profile

• Minimum of SSCE; a qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Excellent spoken English and good interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, confident and welcoming personality, with a neat, professional appearance and good hygiene.
• Previous experience in a hotel, serviced apartment or customer service role is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills, including email, record-keeping and Microsoft Office.
• Good organisational skills, honesty, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle guests professionally, including during busy periods.
