Housekeeper

About the role

Asfaro Apartment in Abuja's Marina is looking for a full-time Housekeeper. The role covers keeping guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas clean and tidy to hotel standards, and responding to guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds and replace towels and toiletries.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust and sanitize assigned areas.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
• Replenish housekeeping supplies and keep housekeeping carts tidy.
• Document and hand over lost and found items according to hotel procedure.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation regulations and keep guest privacy confidential.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE/High School certificate with 3 to 7 years of experience.
• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is an advantage.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
