Project Manager - Construction

About the role

TWG Construction, LLC is hiring a Project Manager who reports to the Vice President of Construction. The role covers the planning and execution, administrative and financial oversight of assigned projects, with the aim of delivering projects on time and on or below budget while meeting owner expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project teams, set performance standards and hold the team and subcontractors accountable for project objectives.
• Act as the company liaison to owners and their representatives, resolving design issues, scope changes, quality concerns and delays.
• Develop project schedules, phasing and logistics, document delays and communicate changes, change orders and scope revisions.
• Monitor project status, attend pre-construction, pre-install, scheduling, safety and progress meetings, and enforce site procedures and safety policies.
• Negotiate and issue subcontracts and purchase orders within authority, review monthly subcontractor and supplier payments and withhold payments until work is corrected.
• Assist accounting with the schedule of values and monthly progress payouts, approve change orders, compile monthly cost reports and manage project closeout.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret scope of work, plans, specifications, addenda and meeting minutes.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, leadership and self-management skills.
• Customer focus and personal accountability for project outcomes.
