Production/Operations Manager

About the role

The Production/Operations Manager will coordinate the tailoring and production teams to ensure designs move smoothly from assignment to completion. This role involves monitoring timelines, managing inventory, and preparing regular reports for the creative director.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with tailors and production staff to follow each design through to completion.
• Monitor production timelines, follow up on delays, and flag issues early.
• Check finished pieces for design, sizing, and quality compliance.
• Record production expenses and payments, maintaining organized receipts and records.
• Track fabric, finished stock, and inventory movements.
• Supervise day‑to‑day staff tasks and ensure work is completed.
• Prepare weekly reports covering progress, stock levels, expenses, and issues.
• Solve routine operational problems and escalate when necessary.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating people and managing daily operations, preferably in fashion or retail.
• Working knowledge of garment production, fabrics, fit, and finishing.
• Strong record‑keeping skills and confidence using spreadsheets for inventory and reports.
• Good basic mathematics and careful attention to figures and quantities.
• Ability to supervise staff, follow up firmly, and communicate respectfully.
• Highly organised, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must reside in Abuja and be available to work on‑site.
