Postdoctoral Researcher – RNA Structure and Gene Expression

About the role

The RNA Therapeutics Institute is establishing a new lab to investigate how RNA folding influences gene expression, evolution, and disease. We seek a motivated postdoctoral researcher to lead high‑throughput experimental projects at the interface of biochemistry, genomics, and computation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute massively parallel assays to probe RNA structure in vivo.
• Construct and manage RNA libraries for diverse model systems including E. coli, yeast, and cultured cells.
• Apply RNA structure probing techniques and integrate data with computational pipelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams spanning genomics, data science, systems biology, and biochemistry.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, computational biology).
• Strong wet‑lab experience with a track record of developing high‑throughput experiments.
• Interest in bridging experimental work with computational analysis.
