Entry-Level Site Builder / Construction Project Management Assistant

About the role

An enthusiastic and meticulous entry-level Site Builder and Construction Project Management Assistant is sought to support daily on-site operations and project coordination. The role covers overseeing site activities, tracking milestones, managing personnel and material logistics, documenting project details and upholding safety and quality protocols. It suits a recent graduate or someone with zero to two years of experience who wants hands-on construction expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily construction activities against project schedules and plans
• Work with the site supervisor or project manager to organise artisans, labourers, subcontractors and vendors
• Oversee procurement, storage and use of materials and equipment
• Aid in interpreting building blueprints, technical specifications and project directives
• Carry out regular site inspections and report progress, delays, defects and other concerns to the project manager
• Maintain site diaries, attendance logs, material consumption reports and daily progress summaries
• Promote health, safety and environmental protocols and take part in quality assurance checks
• Monitor timelines, task assignments and resource needs to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicate clearly with team members, suppliers, contractors and stakeholders, and escalate critical issues to supervisors
• Perform additional construction and coordination tasks as directed by management

Required profile
