Personal Assistant (Research, Events & Social Media)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Partner of Permanent Capital Ventures Limited. The role blends research, executive support, event coordination and social‑media content creation in a fast‑moving venture environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑depth research on businesses, technologies, markets and investment opportunities and transform findings into briefing papers, articles and presentation decks.
• Provide executive support by preparing meeting materials, taking notes, tracking action items and managing correspondence and calendars.
• Coordinate and execute projects from concept to delivery, including vendor research, task scheduling and follow‑up.
• Design and deliver professional presentations using PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides and present information confidently.
• Plan, organise and support events such as conferences, launches and dinners, handling logistics, speakers and on‑site assistance.
• Manage social‑media channels, create captions and short‑form content, and maintain a consistent online presence.
• Produce short‑form video content when required, using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience and an HND or equivalent qualification.
• Business‑minded, intelligent, curious and commercially aware.
• Excellent researcher and writer with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Professional demeanor, discreet handling of confidential information and polished appearance.
