Partnership and Workforce Development Associate

About the role

The Partnership and Workforce Development Associate supports strategic stakeholder engagement and workforce development initiatives to improve employability outcomes. This entry-level position builds and maintains relationships with employers, training partners and other ecosystem actors to expand opportunities for job seekers. It covers end-to-end coordination of workforce programs, from participant mobilization and registration to placement tracking and impact reporting, with accurate data management and timely follow-ups. The role is based in Kaduna, Nigeria, on a hybrid basis, and suits an early-career professional.

Key responsibilities

• Support the identification, mapping and engagement of employers, training providers and key ecosystem stakeholders.
• Assist in planning and running job readiness training, internships, mentorship sessions and placement activities.
• Maintain up-to-date partner and employer databases and track meetings, commitments and follow-ups.
• Coordinate logistics for participant mobilization, program registration and onboarding.
• Monitor and document participant outcomes such as job placements, internships, referrals and enterprise development indicators.
• Help organize stakeholder convenings, roundtables and partnership events.
• Assist in drafting MoUs and prepare activity briefs and progress reports.
