National Sales Manager (Beverages)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven National Sales Manager to lead the commercial strategy and sales execution for our fast‑growing beverage division across Nigeria. The role oversees market penetration, distribution network scaling, and a high‑performance sales team covering juice, carbonated, alcoholic and non‑alcoholic categories.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and execute the nationwide sales strategy, distribution plans and commercial frameworks for the beverage division.
• Drive exponential revenue growth, expand market share and deepen traditional trade penetration.
• Lead, mentor and inspire Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers and Sales Supervisors.
• Build high‑value relationships with principals, distributors, dealers and key accounts to secure shelf dominance.
• Oversee demand forecasting, stock management, debtor/credit control and P&L accountability.
• Monitor team performance, coverage plans and submit monthly MIS reports.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
• At least 12 years progressive FMCG sales experience, with 5+ years in a senior sales managerial role.
• Proven track record selling and scaling beverage brands (juice, carbonated soft drinks or alcohol).
• Deep understanding of traditional trade distribution, route‑to‑market strategies and P&L/cost analysis.
