Nanny

About the role

Amanda Staff is looking for a responsible, caring and experienced nanny to provide attentive childcare and support the children's daily routines in a private household. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient and organised, able to create a safe and positive environment for children; previous teaching experience is strongly preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive and reliable care for the children and supervise them to ensure their safety at all times.
• Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing and other daily routines.
• Organise age-appropriate play, learning and recreational activities.
• Help children with homework and basic educational activities.
• Maintain children's rooms, play areas and belongings in an organised condition.
• Accompany children to school, activities, appointments or outings when required.
• Communicate regularly with parents about the children's routines and wellbeing.
• Encourage good manners, discipline and positive behaviour.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the family and household.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Previous teaching experience strongly preferred; previous professional childcare experience is an advantage.
• Genuine enjoyment of working with children.
• Patient, caring, trustworthy and responsible.
• Excellent communication skills, good personal hygiene and professional presentation.
