About the role
Kings And Queens Unisex Salon Enterprises in Lagos is hiring a full-time Braider. The role covers protective hairstyles such as box braids, knotless braids, cornrows, stitch braids, twists and locs, including client consultation, hair preparation and salon hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Create protective styles such as box braids, knotless braids, cornrows, stitch braids, twists and locs, blending hair extensions or attachments when needed
- Discuss client preferences, assess hair texture and health, and recommend suitable styles or maintenance routines
- Wash, condition, blow-dry, detangle and section hair before starting a style
- Clean and sanitize tools, combs and work areas between clients and watch for scalp conditions
- Schedule bookings, handle client service and keep up with emerging hair trends and techniques
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of SSCE
- 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
