Motion Graphics and Animation Trainer

About the role

M-R International Nigeria Limited, owner of the MRsoft trademark, is an ICT company founded in 1992 offering solutions, training and consultancy to individuals and corporate clients in Nigeria and globally. It is looking for a contract, on-site Motion Graphics and Animation Trainer based at its Port Harcourt Technology Complex. The trainer designs and delivers structured training programmes in motion graphics, animation and related digital media tools to learners at various skill levels.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and course materials, and demonstrate software workflows
• Supervise practical projects and give constructive feedback so learners can build professional portfolios
• Stay current with industry trends and update training content
• Collaborate with other trainers to improve curricula and ensure sessions run smoothly
• Support production teams on selected projects to give learners real-world case studies

Required profile

• Previous experience delivering technical or creative training, mentoring or classroom instruction in ICT or media fields
• Ability to design curricula, structure learning paths and assess learner progress through assignments and projects
• A relevant diploma or degree in Animation, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Film/Video Production, Computer Science or a related discipline is an advantage
• Demonstrated portfolio of motion graphics and animation work

Required skills

• Motion design and motion graphics, and graphics and storyboarding
• Video production, including basic editing and post-production
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Illustrator
• Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills
