About the role
Cartwey is expanding its merchant network in Ibadan and is looking for ambitious, persuasive and results-driven people to join its Merchant Growth Team. You will identify and onboard supermarkets, grocery stores and other retail businesses so they can sell through Cartwey.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and reach out to supermarkets, grocery stores and retail businesses.
- Visit merchants and introduce them to Cartwey.
- Build relationships with store owners and decision-makers.
- Negotiate and secure merchant partnerships.
- Support merchants through registration and onboarding.
- Help merchants prepare to receive orders on Cartwey.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Confidence in approaching and pitching businesses.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven.
- Previous sales, business development or field marketing experience is an advantage.
