Director of Business Development and Corporate Expansion

About the role

Footy Homes and Properties helps clients find land for their dream homes, offering plots in rural landscapes, scenic areas and prime urban locations. It is looking for a Director of Business Development and Corporate Expansion to lead growth initiatives, identify new markets and expand the company's portfolio of land and property offerings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ibadan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies and build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, investors and key stakeholders.
• Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements.
• Oversee market research, analyse industry trends and evaluate opportunities for regional and national expansion.
• Set revenue and expansion targets and collaborate with sales and marketing teams.
• Optimize business processes and prepare regular performance and forecast reports for senior leadership.
• Represent the company at industry events, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote the brand in line with its vision and values.

Required profile

• Proven track record in a senior business development or corporate expansion role, preferably in fast-growing or asset-driven organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Management or a related field; an advanced degree such as an MBA is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of real estate or land acquisition markets; experience in property development or related sectors is highly beneficial.
• High level of integrity, strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, with readiness to work on-site in Ibadan.
