Marketing Officer - Beauty & Retail

About the role

The Prosperis Associates Limited is hiring a Marketing Officer in Lagos (Marina) to run in-store promotions, activations and brand visibility across its beauty and retail business. The role combines hands-on field work in stores with community representation, content support and digital promotion.

Key responsibilities

• Visit branches regularly, build strong relationships with branch teams and spot opportunities and gaps early.
• Plan and run in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, product sampling and makeup demo days.
• Make sure banners, flyers, shelf talkers and other campaign materials are produced, delivered and displayed correctly and on time.
• Monitor displays, shelf presentation and branding standards across stores; flag slow movers and ensure new launches get prime placement.
• Represent the brand at local events, markets, salons and beauty schools, and build relationships with makeup artists and beauty professionals.
• Co-create content and campaign ideas with content creators, designers and photographers, and help set up shoots.
• Support digital channels by assisting with social media, email and WhatsApp marketing and keeping brand messaging consistent online and offline.
• Track sales and stock, gather customer feedback, monitor competitor pricing and promotions, and share insights with the team.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years' experience in marketing, retail, field marketing, digital marketing or brand activation.
• Degree in a related field.
• Organized, proactive and strong on follow-through; comfortable moving between stores and talking directly with customers.
• Good eye for product presentation, beauty trends and what makes a display sell.
• Genuine passion for makeup, beauty and retail.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of social media and basic digital marketing tools.
• Idea generation and confidence to share them.
