Social Media Officer

About the role

JV Management Consulting Limited is hiring a Social Media Officer in Lagos to manage the company's social media presence, create engaging content and turn online engagement into enquiries and leads. The role covers content creation, community management, paid social support and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and maintain social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and others) and keep a consistent posting schedule aligned with the brand.
• Develop weekly and monthly content calendars and produce posts, reels, short videos, stories, carousels, captions and promotional graphics, collaborating with the design team.
• Respond promptly to comments, messages and enquiries, direct customers to the right channels, monitor feedback and escalate complaints.
• Plan and run social media campaigns for travel packages and holiday deals, support paid ads, explore influencer and partnership opportunities and research competitors.
• Work with business development and sales teams to convert enquiries into leads and support revenue growth.
• Track reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, enquiries and conversions, prepare weekly or monthly reports and recommend improvements.
• Verify travel information, prices and offers before publication and protect customer data.

Required profile

• HND in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations or a related field; practical experience is an advantage.
• Previous experience managing social media accounts or creating digital content is an advantage.
• Good writing, proofreading, storytelling and communication skills.
• Interest in travel, tourism and destination marketing is an advantage.

Required skills

• Content creation with tools such as Canva or CapCut.
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Meta Business Suite.
• Understanding of social media analytics, audience engagement and digital marketing principles.
