Loan Officer - High-Value Lending and Portfolio Growth

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, results‑driven Loan Officer to lead high‑value loan origination, client acquisition, and portfolio growth. The ideal candidate will bring an existing network of entrepreneurs and businesses, a proven track record of sourcing new borrowers, and the ability to close a high volume of large‑ticket loans each month.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients by targeting entrepreneurs, businesses, and organizations with financing needs, building a strong pipeline of qualified loan opportunities.
• Manage and expand an existing client portfolio, maintaining relationships and uncovering repeat or additional lending opportunities.
• Originate, structure, and process high‑value, high‑volume loans while meeting monthly origination targets.
• Negotiate with banks and financial institutions to secure appropriate financing and oversee the loan process from application through disbursement.
• Conduct thorough credit and financial analysis to ensure compliance with credit, risk, regulatory, and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Loan Officer, Credit Officer, Relationship Manager or similar role within banking, fintech or financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a sizeable client or loan portfolio and consistently generate new business.
• Existing network of entrepreneurs, SMEs, or business owners with significant financing needs is a strong advantage.
