Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support our financial reporting and operations. The role is based onsite in Oshodi, Lagos and offers a competitive monthly salary.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records and accounting entries.
• Prepare and review invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and other financial documents.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and support payroll processing.
• Track expenses, ensure proper documentation and monitor budgets for discrepancies.
• Liaise with vendors, clients, banks and other stakeholders on financial matters.
• Support audit processes by providing required documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Residence in Oshodi or its environs with convenient commute.
• Professional accounting certification or part‑qualification (ICAN/ACCA) is an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good understanding of bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable and financial documentation.
