Lead, Adjacent Businesses

About the role

Lead the growth of energy‑enabled services and adjacent businesses across Husk Power’s rural communities. You will shape strategy, build partnerships and manage a portfolio of commercial services that drive economic development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for new revenue‑generating services using existing energy infrastructure.
• Identify, negotiate and manage strategic partnerships with private sector firms, development agencies, financial institutions and community organisations.
• Oversee performance of existing energy services, optimise pricing and operating models, and ensure profitability.
• Coordinate with operations to guarantee reliable service delivery, equipment availability and compliance with safety standards.
• Lead market assessments, pilot new products in e‑mobility, agriculture, water services and digital solutions, and scale successful initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Social Sciences or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in business development, commercial operations or rural energy/value‑chain sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multiple revenue‑generating business lines and conduct financial analysis.
• Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with willingness to travel extensively.
