Kitchen Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our hospitality team in Abuja. You will support the kitchen staff by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning vegetables and other ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces.
• Receive and store deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Dispose of waste correctly and keep the kitchen organized.
• Support chefs and kitchen crew during busy service periods.
• Follow health, safety, and company procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Pass a background check.
