About the role
This pupillage program offers a fresh law graduate the chance to develop core litigation skills while working on real cases in High Courts and appellate courts. You will receive structured mentorship, hands‑on training, and regular courtroom exposure in a full‑time, on‑site environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior lawyers with active litigation matters in High Courts and appellate courts.
- Draft pleadings, motions, affidavits, and legal opinions under supervision.
- Conduct legal research and case‑law analysis to support case strategy.
- Attend court sittings, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Support documentation, filings, and case management tasks.
- Maintain accurate case records and prepare regular reports.
Required profile
- Completed Law School and NYSC.
- Called to the Bar of Nigeria.
- Resides in Ikoyi or nearby areas.
- Strong interest in litigation practice and willingness to learn.
- Proactive, initiative‑taking attitude with no prior experience required.
