Junior Legal & Communication Officer

About the role

The Junior Legal & Communication Officer will support the legal department in drafting, reviewing and organizing contracts, legal documents and compliance records, while also contributing to internal and external communications for the company.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and organize contracts, legal documents and compliance records.
• Prepare company secretarial work including board meeting notices, agendas, minutes and action tracking.
• Handle statutory and regulatory filings such as annual returns, business licenses and special resolutions.
• Maintain statutory registers (charges, members, directors) and support corporate structure and intellectual property management.
• Provide legal advice to the group of companies and assist with media relations, press releases and communication plans.

Required profile

• Law degree or equivalent legal certification.
• Foundational knowledge of corporate/commercial law and regulatory compliance.
• 1‑5 years experience in FMCG, law or agricultural firms (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams while maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace tools.
