IT Sales Executive

About the role

Lotus Beta Analytics, a technology solutions provider focused on digital transformation for businesses across Africa, is hiring a full-time, on-site IT Sales Executive in Nigeria. The role drives revenue growth by selling IT solutions and services, working closely with technical and delivery teams.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospects, generate leads and manage the sales pipeline from first contact to closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients, understand their business and technical needs and recommend digital transformation solutions.
• Prepare proposals, deliver product presentations and demos, and negotiate contracts and pricing.
• Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Track market trends, report on sales performance and contribute to sales strategies supporting company growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in B2B technology or IT solution sales, ideally in the African market, is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, a results-oriented mindset and ability to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Solution selling and consultative sales in IT environments.
• Lead generation and prospecting, account management, client retention and upselling or cross-selling.
• Understanding of cloud solutions, cybersecurity, enterprise applications and IT infrastructure.
• Clear communication, presentation, negotiation and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and basic productivity software (e.g. Microsoft Office) is an advantage.
