Business Development Executive

About the role

Jobbrace Limited is hiring a Business Development Executive in Abuja, Nigeria. The role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building a sales pipeline and promoting insurance brokerage and risk management services to individuals and corporate organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Source prospective clients and build a strong sales pipeline.
• Promote insurance brokerage and risk management services to individuals and corporate organisations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, business partners and other key stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations for prospective clients.
• Negotiate terms and follow up on prospects to close deals.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions and business development progress.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in business administration, marketing, insurance or a related field.
• Proven experience in business development, sales or client relationship management; insurance brokerage or financial services experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of insurance products and risk management services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with strong networking and client acquisition abilities.
• Target-driven, proactive and able to work independently.
• Willingness and ability to resume work within two weeks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.

What we offer

• Remuneration of NGN 300,000 per month plus commissions.
