IT Sales Executive – Cloud, Infrastructure & Backup Solutions

About the role

Peakware Group is seeking a motivated IT Sales Executive to drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and selling enterprise technology solutions. The role focuses on cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data protection and backup & recovery offerings from leading OEMs.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and qualify leads through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking and referrals.
• Engage IT decision‑makers such as CIOs, CTOs, IT Managers and Infrastructure Managers.
• Sell solutions across cloud, cybersecurity, networking, servers, storage, backup and disaster recovery.
• Develop opportunities around products from Commvault, Veritas, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Juniper, Cisco, NetApp, HPE, VMware, Huawei and other OEMs.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, tenders, RFPs and RFQs and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Identify cross‑selling, upselling, renewal and managed‑services opportunities and achieve sales targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in IT sales, technology sales or business development.
• Strong interest in enterprise IT, cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking, storage and data protection.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
• Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veritas).
• Understanding of networking and infrastructure products (Juniper, Cisco, NetApp, HPE, VMware, Huawei).
• Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
