Internal Communications Officer

About the role

The Internal Communications Officer will translate the internal communications strategy into well‑conceptualised initiatives that foster an engaged, high‑performing culture. Reporting to the Corporate Communications Manager, this role leads project delivery, stakeholder collaboration and budget management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor internal communications project timelines, milestones and budgets, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Conceptualise and design employee engagement campaigns based on feedback, survey data and DEI considerations.
• Build trusted relationships with departmental stakeholders, translating briefs into clear internal messages.
• Develop and track annual internal communications budgets, manage vendor procurement and reallocate funds as priorities shift.
• Engage agencies, review deliverables against brand standards and service level agreements.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Social Sciences, Administration or Humanities.
• At least 5 years of experience in marketing communications, internal communications or employee engagement.
• Proven track record of managing end‑to‑end internal communications projects and budgets.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.
