About the role
The Resident Internal Auditor will advise management on internal control systems and business risk across our Port Harcourt operations. You will provide assurance on the quality, cost‑effectiveness and compliance of our processes.
Key responsibilities
- Safeguard company assets against loss, fraud, waste and inefficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, policies, regulations and internal procedures.
- Monitor that operations are conducted efficiently and economically.
- Validate the reliability and security of management information systems.
- Oversee development of new systems to embed appropriate internal controls.
- Identify and manage significant business risks.
- Support major projects to achieve their objectives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (minimum Second Class Lower).
Required skills
- Fraud prevention techniques.
- Analytical skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
