Insurance Unit Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Insurance Unit Manager to build, drive, and inspire a high‑performing team of licensed Sales Advisors. You will expand our market footprint, drive revenue growth, and implement strategic retail sales frameworks for life and investment insurance portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively recruit, onboard, and build a vibrant team of Financial Advisors/Sales Executives.
• Train and support the team in prospecting, delivering sales presentations, closing deals, and managing client relationships.
• Set performance targets, monitor weekly/monthly sales metrics, and drive team productivity to meet unit goals.
• Identify fresh business segments, corporate accounts, and high‑net‑worth opportunities to expand the company's retail footprint.
• Ensure all sales practices strictly follow regulatory frameworks and internal policies, and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in insurance sales.
• Exceptional leadership, networking, and relationship‑management skills.
• Target‑driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Deep understanding of retail life insurance and annuity products.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
• A professional insurance qualification (e.g., CIIN) or an existing portfolio/team of sales agents is a major advantage.
