Insurance Marketing Officer – Enugu

About the role

The Insurance Marketing Officer will drive sales and business development for retail and corporate insurance products in Enugu. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing relationships, and supporting the execution of marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new retail and corporate insurance clients.
• Convert leads into policies across approved product lines and meet production targets.
• Support renewal, cross‑selling and upselling of existing client portfolios.
• Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure retention and repeat business.
• Execute field marketing, direct sales, and relationship‑based marketing activities.
• Participate in promotional events, corporate visits and market activations.
• Prepare and submit regular sales activity and production reports.
• Ensure accurate completion of proposal forms, onboarding documentation and KYC compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in insurance sales or marketing.
• A degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Marketing).
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
• Familiarity with KYC compliance and regulatory requirements.
