Human Resources Specialist

About the role

A client of eRecruiter, a leader in the Nigerian interior design, furniture manufacturing, stainless-steel manufacturing and luxury furniture sector, is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to optimise and scale its internal operations, especially hiring, onboarding, employee engagement and performance monitoring. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, performance tracking and employee engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Hiring and recruitment: oversee end-to-end hiring across departments, maintain hiring pipelines, role scorecards and candidate databases, work with recruitment agencies and improve the hiring playbook.
• Onboarding and off-boarding: improve the onboarding experience so new hires have the right tools and expectations in their first week, and manage off-boarding and exit interviews.
• Process automation: create a central place for internal documents, SOPs and employee resources, and automate workflows such as offer letters, performance tracking and pulse surveys.
• Employee experience: lead internal communications, run culture-building initiatives, satisfaction checks and feedback loops, and organise team bonding, virtual town halls and check-ins.
• Performance and compliance: maintain employee records and performance agreements, work with department heads on timely performance reviews, and monitor team health.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR or Talent Management.
• Strong background in building scalable HR systems and recruitment processes.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to documentation and clarity.
