HR Business Partner – Investment Platform & Portfolio Companies

About the role

This position is based in Nigeria and supports an international technology investment platform and its portfolio companies. As an HR Business Partner / HR Director you will shape people strategy, drive employee experience and enable business growth across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to improve organisational effectiveness and align talent with strategic objectives.
• Lead workforce planning and staffing initiatives to ensure the right talent and structure for growth.
• Design and implement employee engagement, retention and satisfaction programmes.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle – recruitment, onboarding, performance management, development, succession planning and off‑boarding.
• Provide HR analytics, insights and recommendations based on engagement metrics, turnover data and business needs.
• Coach managers on people‑related decisions and leadership practices.
• Monitor and continuously improve HR programmes for distributed international teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Director in an international digital, technology or product‑focused company.
• Proven track record managing end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work with HR metrics such as payroll budgets, engagement, retention, turnover and workforce efficiency.
• Experience with compensation and benefits, HR analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Strong project‑management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Results‑oriented mindset with persistence, ownership and measurable impact.
