House Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a private residence in Lagos. The role involves ensuring the home remains clean, organized, and well‑maintained while coordinating household staff and managing supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily household operations and ensure smooth running of the residence.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep.
• Coordinate and supervise household staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Manage household schedules, routines, and daily task assignments.
• Monitor and replenish household supplies, groceries, and essential items.
• Assist with meal planning, shopping, and general errands as needed.
• Ensure proper maintenance of appliances, facilities, and household items.
• Communicate regularly with the employer about needs, schedules, and any concerns.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a House Manager, Home Manager, Senior Housekeeper, or similar role.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful with a strong sense of discretion.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Flexibility to assist with various household responsibilities as required.
