Hotel Manager - Boutique Hotel

About the role

A boutique hotel in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, is looking for an experienced, commercially driven and tech-savvy Hotel Manager to oversee its daily operations. The ideal candidate has strong hospitality management experience, excellent customer service skills and the ability to use technology and online booking platforms to drive occupancy, revenue and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations, staff performance and guest satisfaction.
• Manage online booking platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia and Airbnb.
• Optimise room occupancy, pricing and revenue.
• Manage reservation systems, property management software (PMS) and digital guest communications.
• Develop strategies to increase direct bookings and online visibility.
• Monitor budgets, operational costs and hotel profitability.
• Maintain service standards, resolve guest complaints and advertise on social media and other media.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a boutique hotel or similar hospitality property.
• Commercial awareness and experience growing hotel revenue.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of hotel operations.
