Restaurant Manager

About the role

A client is looking for a hands-on Restaurant Manager to run daily restaurant operations in Benin City, Edo State. The manager oversees staff coordination, service quality, inventory control and customer satisfaction, reporting to the CEO. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and supervise staff, coordinating shifts and assigning daily tasks
• Monitor food quality, presentation and service consistency
• Ensure excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, purchases and wastage
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Track daily sales, expenses and operational costs, and prepare daily and weekly reports for management
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance monitoring of staff
• Maintain the restaurant environment, equipment and facilities, and solve operational problems to improve efficiency and profitability

Required profile

• HND/BSc in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field; relevant experience can substitute
• 5+ years in restaurant management or a similar hospitality supervisory role
• Must reside in or be willing to work in Benin City, Edo State
