Hotel Manager - 3-Star Hotel, Ikotun-Egbe

About the role

A 3-star hotel with 52 rooms, restaurant, main kitchen, pool bar, swimming pool and gym in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, is looking for an experienced, mature Hotel Manager. The role reports to the Deputy Managing Director and carries full operational, commercial and financial accountability. It is a hands-on, live-in position with on-site accommodation, a 6-day work week and hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility for 24/7 hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across guest rooms, food and beverage outlets, laundry and leisure facilities, enforcing SOPs and conducting daily property inspections
• Manage guest experience, handle escalations and VIPs, and act on guest feedback
• Monitor daily receipts, room occupancy, ADR and RevPAR, approve discounts and refunds, and control OPEX and inventory
• Supervise restaurant, main kitchen and pool bar, ensuring food quality, hygiene and portion control
• Drive local sales and marketing, attract corporate and private clients, and monetize gym and pool access
• Lead, coach and discipline staff, manage rosters and leave, and run training programmes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in hospitality, hotel and restaurant management or a related field; a diploma/certificate in hotel management or an MBA in international hotel management with experience is also acceptable
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on hospitality operations management, including 3 to 5 years in a 3-star hotel with 50+ rooms and F&B and leisure amenities
• Age of 37-40 years, male, fluent professional English, and must live on-site

Required skills

• Operational expertise across front office, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance and security
• Proficiency in property management systems, online booking engines and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

What we offer

• Net monthly base salary of N400,000 to N600,000
