Head of Sales – Advertising & Media

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead revenue generation for PeSS Group’s advertising and media businesses, shaping strategy and driving growth across multiple brands. This full‑time, hybrid position is based in Ikeja with some work‑from‑home flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to expand advertising revenue streams.
• Build and manage client portfolios, leading end‑to‑end account management from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to design integrated advertising solutions and prepare pitches.
• Recruit, coach, and manage a high‑performing sales team, tracking performance metrics and reporting results to senior leadership.
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and growth channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in advertising, media, or digital marketing services sales, preferably within an agency or fast‑growing e‑commerce environment.
• Strong sales and sales‑management capabilities with a results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, comfortable engaging C‑level decision‑makers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
