Head of Sales – Advertising & Media

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead revenue generation for PeSS Group’s advertising and media businesses, shaping strategy and driving growth across multiple brands. Based in Ikeja with hybrid flexibility, you will work closely with marketing, operations and senior leadership to deliver integrated advertising solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market share and achieve revenue targets.
• Build and manage a portfolio of client relationships, overseeing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to design integrated advertising solutions and prepare compelling pitches.
• Recruit, coach and lead a high‑performing sales team, tracking performance metrics and reporting results to senior leadership.
• Identify new market opportunities, partnerships and growth channels within the advertising and e‑commerce ecosystem.

Required profile

• Proven experience in advertising, media or digital marketing services sales, preferably within an agency or fast‑growing e‑commerce environment.
• Strong sales and account management capabilities with a track record of negotiating and closing high‑value deals.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging C‑level and senior decision‑makers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
