Head of Group FP&A

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a senior finance leader to head its Group Financial Planning & Analysis function. The role will oversee global accounting operations, consolidate financial statements at the holding‑company level and ensure accurate reporting across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation and timely reporting of group financial statements.
• Coordinate month‑end closing for the holding entity and its subsidiaries.
• Oversee global accounting processes, including intercompany transactions, eliminations and reconciliations.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and adherence to local statutory regulations in all operating jurisdictions.
• Develop and manage cost‑allocation methodologies and internal controls for multi‑entity operations.
• Partner with finance leadership on process‑improvement initiatives and the accounting set‑up for new markets.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and supervise group audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, ACCA or equivalent required.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within a multi‑country, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong track record in fast‑paced, high‑volume organisations.
• Big 4 audit or advisory experience is strongly preferred.
