Guest Service Host

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Guest Service Host to join our cinema team in Lagos. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth experience from entry to exit.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and create a positive first impression.
• Assist with ticket verification, seating, showtimes and answer cinema enquiries.
• Escort guests to their seats and inform them about facilities and services.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and concerns professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Monitor guest areas for cleanliness, comfort and safety, reporting any issues promptly.
• Support food and beverage service and ensure accurate, timely delivery.
• Coordinate guest flow during busy periods and give special attention to VIP and premium guests.
• Follow all cinema, HSE, security and operational procedures.

Required profile

• OND or equivalent qualification in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in guest services, hospitality, customer service or similar front‑facing roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance, courteous demeanor and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
