Barman (Hospitality)

About the role

Henriken Consulting is hiring a Barman for a full-time, on-site hospitality position in Lekki. The role covers preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, keeping the bar stocked and tidy, and providing friendly, efficient service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders, give product recommendations and serve drinks throughout each shift.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and maintain bar stock and supplies.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized and presentable at all times.
• Handle cash and payment transactions and follow hygiene and safety standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and floor staff to support smooth service.
• Follow company policies, assist with bar inventory and reporting, and help maintain a respectful workplace.

Required profile

• Strong customer service skills to ensure a welcoming guest experience.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests and working with the team.
• Solid food and beverage knowledge to prepare drinks to quality and safety standards.
• Bartending skills, including mixing drinks and using bar tools.
• Reliable cash handling skills for accurate and secure payments.
• Beneficial: prior hospitality or bar service experience, ability to stand for long periods, attention to detail, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
