Cafe Barista

About the role

A café in Yaba, Lagos is looking for a reliable, customer-focused and enthusiastic barista to join its team. The position is full-time and on-site, with no prior barista experience required because training is provided. The salary is N120,000 gross per month.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages after training.
• Provide excellent and professional customer service and take orders accurately.
• Maintain accurate sales and payment records.
• Ensure consistency in the taste, presentation and speed of service.
• Monitor stock levels and keep accurate inventory records.
• Support daily café operations and workflow, and keep the premises clean and hygienic.
• Handle customer requests and resolve routine operational issues.

Required profile

• Must live in Yaba or nearby, as proximity to the workplace is essential.
• Fast learner willing to learn coffee preparation and beverage service.
• Previous hospitality or customer-facing experience is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Professional, neat and presentable appearance.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
• Available to work weekends as required.
