Group Head of New Media (Digital Media & Communications)

About the role

The Group Head, New Media will lead Dangote Group’s digital communications function, shaping the organisation’s online presence, reputation and audience engagement across all digital platforms. This senior role acts as the strategic custodian of the Group’s digital ecosystem, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Group‑wide digital communications strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Provide strategic leadership for the New Media Office, driving operational excellence and high‑performance teams.
• Oversee corporate websites, social media channels, content calendars, and multimedia production (videos, graphics, photography, animations).
• Establish content governance standards to ensure consistency, quality and brand alignment.
• Lead digital reputation management, including social listening, sentiment analysis and real‑time crisis communications.
• Define policies, standards and governance frameworks for digital communications across the Group.
• Monitor key performance indicators, produce dashboards and use data insights to improve audience engagement.
