General Maintenance Officer

About the role

The General Maintenance Officer will ensure that all facilities, equipment and infrastructure at Casalavoro Limited remain functional, safe and well‑maintained. This full‑time position involves both preventive and corrective maintenance across a range of building systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, fixtures and equipment.
• Repair minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and masonry issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Monitor asset condition and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers for specialized tasks.
• Manage proper use, handling and storage of tools and equipment.
• Support facility improvement and renovation projects.

Required profile

• Minimum OND, Trade Test Certificate or equivalent technical qualification.
• Proven experience in facility or building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general repair work.
• Physically fit and capable of handling maintenance tasks.
